Simply Wedding - York's

This is my friend Rachel’s wedding and it was one of the cutest weddings I’ve ever seen! I was so glad to be a part of it, mostly because Rachel is such a special friend to me. You can tell by every picture that she has a way of lighting up a room – there is no one like her!

The land Aaron and Rachel got married on was special in so many ways, mainly because this was where Rachel was brought home from the hospital and many years later, became part of Aaron’s family’s land. What a neat coincidence! Anyway, they fixed up this beautiful barn and had a gorgeous reception at the farm. Enjoy the pictures, and be sure to check out the entire album below!

Photography Awards

Saturday, I did something I’ve wanted to do for a long time… I went to a photography contest and a meeting of the Lebanon Camera Club. I can be pretty shy, so I brought Nathaniel along for moral support. But we both instantly had a great time and enjoyed making new friends.

And guess what?! I won a ribbon for every photograph I entered!! There were five categories: Anything Goes, People, Plants, Things, and Animals. I entered every category but ‘thing’. Here are the follow shots I entered:

Anything Goes: I WON FIRST PLACE!!!

People: I won 2nd place

Plant: I won 2nd place

Animal: I (surprisingly) won 2nd place!

Anyway, I just had to share my excitement. They asked me to keep my photographs in the downtown art gallary and they will be there until December 5th! Go visit and look for my pictures on the wall to your right as you enter the front doors.

Simply Twins

Once you get past your insane jealousy over how gorgeous Jenna is (haha!), you will love these pictures of her and her twins, Isabella and Olivia! We had so much fun taking a few pictures after church yesterday… I couldn’t even tell you which one is my favorite (although I do love the two peas in a pod picture!), but I know you will enjoy them all.

Chad and Jenna are expecting twins at the beginning of December and she is 32 weeks along in these pictures. I hope you enjoy looking through all of these pictures at one gorgeous maternity model! FYI, I took her sister’s engagement pictures earlier this year – remember the gorgeous shoot in the rain?! I could photograph both these girls every day of my life and be perfectly happy!

Simply Family - Sooters

After a disappointing rain delay, Bethany, Isaac and Isabelle finally got their family pictures!

Boy, was it worth the wait. The day was gorgeous and Bethany and Isaac had found some great spots in Rogersville to take pictures. These are a few of my favorites - I'm sure you can see why! Isabelle makes the most hilarious, most adorable faces you have ever seen. Hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them!

I got to fly out to Denver to see Nathaniel a few weeks ago!! It was so wonderful and I just had to share a few of our photos. Most of these Nathaniel took... what can I say, he's amazing at everything?!

Anyway, I flew in and we immediately went to the Rocky Mountain National Park for the day. It was beautiful - snowy, but not icy. Elk everywhere. SO BEAUTIFUL!! The next two days, we went to Colorado Springs to what I call the Garden of ONE GOD (love ya, J.C.!), Pike's Peek, Air Force Academy, etc. It was a weekend I will forever treasure! Enjoy the pics!

Friends at Bank of America

I just had to give a shout out to my friends at Bank of America!! :) Nathaniel ran into Amy the other day who noticed I have been terrible at updating my blog. But guess what?! I will do better!


Saturday, I have an unbelievable wedding to photograph; Sunday, I have a family session for a great looking family; and Tuesday, I am taking my sister-in-love's engagement pictures. So keep checking back with me!!
