Simply Cassandra & Rob

This was such a fun photo shoot - I love spending time with Cassandra and her fiance, Robert, is so much fun too. As you can see, they are extremely photogenic and so is that huge rock on Cassandra's hand! :) We went downtown, to the railroad tracks and by a little pond at sunset which had a canoe just waiting for them to take pictures in. They turned out great and here are some of my favorites!

Simply Paige

This album is of my cousin, Paige, taken on my most recent trip to Texas. We had so much fun going around town with our Aunt LeAnn and Uncle Rusty - photography gurus (and even if they weren't, they are so much fun!). Once we scoped out the town, Paige and I went all over the place - old garages, gas stations, railroad tracks and a beautiful fountain at Panola College. I really will treasure all the memories I made with my family while taking these photos - and I definitely couldn't ask for a more beautiful model. Thanks, Paige!!

Trip to St. Louis with Lindsray!

Okay, here are some of my favorite pictures of Nathaniel and my trip to St. Louis with Lindsay and Raymond. We had an awesome time at the zoo, eating at the Cheesecake Factory (I swear, my stomach just growled when I typed that!) and driving back from our rained out Aerosmith concert. Anyway, Nate and I took some fun pictures, so enjoy! (You can click on any of the pictures to get a larger image... they are really neat that way.)

My little friends

An email from Katie... this is so cute! :)

All day yesterday, Layla was asking to go to your house. I kept telling her that you were working and so in the evening she said you were probably off of work, so we could go ahead and go see you. I told her soon...she talks about it all the time.

AND, Layla and Titan played photoghrapher yesterday. They layed out a blanket and set up dolls and took turns taking pictures. TOOOOOOOOO cute!

Simply Anora

Welcome to the world, Anora!! Isn't she such a beautiful baby? Anora is the newborn daughter to our good friends, Ben and Katie. They have Layla (4), Titan (2) and Anora and I adore their family. Thanks to Layla, the thought of having a daughter just like her makes Nathaniel so excited to have children one day. (I'll pay ya when your older, Layla!)

This picture is for Nathaniel since Layla is his "other woman". Every time Layla sees me, she asks where "Mafaniel" (let's face it, Nathaniel is hard to say!) is or if I have marshmellows. I just LOVE her!

Simply Dawsons

The Dawson kids are so beautiful... and just as sweet as they are cute!! I had such a great time with them and getting to know Pam and Matt through the whole process. We've sat behind them at church for years, and little did I know we were kindred spirits! I don't know which was more fun... taking the pictures Thursday or having them over on Friday!! Either way, I'm thankful for the new friendship I've developed through this photo shoot.

Now, onto the kids... I love this first one!! Alyssa's eyes are underbelievable for a one year old.

Simply Jaren - Sneak Peek

I get to meet the greatest people on earth at my photo shoots, and this one was no different!! Cindy and Jim are awesome people - they each have grown kids and were given this little surprise nine months ago. Jim told me they had Jaren on Thursday and his other son got married on Saturday! (Jim also has a son fighting in Afghanistan, and we appreciate his service so much.)

Baby Jaren is 6 days old in these pictures and weighs six pounds. After he eats, he's the most calm, sweet baby around! We had selected to take these pictures at a friend's house with a lot of natural lighting; however, it was too cloudy that evening, so the lighting was a challenge. But we worked with what we had and thank Paula & Duane for being so accommodating.

These are a few of my favorites - I love the "God's Gift" pictures and I told Jim he needed to be a hand model (I'm sure you will agree). Enjoy these sweet pictures of Jaren - such a blessed baby to be born to such wonderful parents!
